An Extrait de Parfum is the most concentrated form of a fragrance. A little goes a long way, and the way you apply it shapes how it unfolds on the skin.
Begin with the skin
Fragrance lasts longer on moisturised skin. Apply after a shower, over an unscented moisturiser.
Choose the pulse points
Apply to the inner wrists, the base of the neck or behind the ears. The natural warmth of these areas helps the fragrance unfold gradually through the day.
Less is more
One or two sprays are enough. An extrait tends to sit closer to the skin and last longer than lighter concentrations.
Let it settle
Avoid rubbing your wrists together. Friction warms the skin and rushes the opening notes. Let the fragrance dry naturally, so the top, heart and base notes reveal themselves in turn.
Keep it well
Store your bottle closed and in its box, in a cool, dark place. Avoid direct sunlight, heat and the humidity of the bathroom.
